Two distinct forces of the French underground collide on this new split between VETO (Dunkerque) and NIGHT VISION (Rouen).
VETO bring their sharp, emotional take on punk hardcore — fast, direct and rooted in the raw energy of the northern DIY scene. Since 2015 they’ve shaped a sound that blends urgency with melody, delivering tightly‑wound tracks built for small rooms and sweat‑drenched shows.
NIGHT VISION, hailing from Rouen, fire back with a completely different flavour: high‑speed thrash hardcore steeped in ’80s crossover spirit. Known from their LP The After, they mix hardcore and thrash effortlessly, weaving in slasher‑movie synth intros, skate‑ready tempos and nods to SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, D.R.I. and CRIPPLED FOX. Every track hits fast, tight and under two minutes.
Together, these two bands showcase the breadth of French hardcore today — from emotional speed‑driven punk to razor‑sharp thrashcore — united by DIY ethics and pure intensity.
