Tokyo Lungs - 2020/2022 LP

Tokyo Lungs is a project that features two members of UK hardcore band, The Domestics - James Domestic and Simon Battery. James had a lot of ‘spare’ songs - he’s always been a prolific songwriter - and demoed nine of them, asking Simon to record drums for them. James then re-recorded vocals, bass, and guitar parts and they’d made a seven inch. A record than sold out super-quick in its first pressing! The ‘Soul Music’ album, and the songs from the split with Feral State were done exactly the same way. There have never been any additional members or a single rehearsal; just James and Simon doing their thing and channelling old school USHC like Out Cold, MDC, Negative Approach, Acid Reflux, early Circle Jerks etc. mixed with a touch of UKHC legends like Ripcord and Heresy. Keeping it simple, catchy, and fast.
