Colère - Unleashed LP

Caught somewhere between d-beat and hardcore, Belgian outfit Colère hits hard and fast, leaving me with a massive grin on my face. For a debut album, Unleashed is an outstanding collection of tracks, with occasional dual vocals but primarily those of Sharon, who nails those duties. The overall sound is a blend of clean and dirty. That creates an air of menace and is perfect for what the band’s doing, creating an exciting and invigorating record. This stands apart from a lot of the more aggressive sounding records I hear these days. –Rich Cocksedge
