Bobby's, The - Ispilura Begira LP

The Bobby’s hail from the beautiful and fiery town of Errenteria (Renteria), one of the most passionate and pro-independence areas in the entire Basque Country, and they truly embody that spirit. Oi! and high-energy, driving street-punk, performed by well-rehearsed musicians. A sound more reminiscent of the early 2000s than the new Basque wave, sung in three languages—primarily Euskara, but also Castilian and English. Also noteworthy is the variety of lyrics, which focus heavily on street life and working-class identity—both sources of pride, but also of daily problems and challenges. And that’s what this band is mainly about.
A beautiful album from a visual standpoint as well, with attention to every detail.
