Salmiakki Yöuth - Otamme Salmiakki Takaisin Sydämiimme 10"

This is supposed to be a new pressing of a previously unreleased demo from 1983. SALMIAKKI YÖUTH were from Tampere, Finland and I’d never heard them until now. They have some of the great elements of early Finnish bands like KAAOS, RATTUS, etc. but what really fucked me up was the extreme ECONOCHRIST vibe I got from SALMIAKKI YÖUTH. They have some of the technical guitar work and rhythms that you would hear from the Eastbay circa 1993 but the vocals have that early Scandinavian reverb. This 10 inch is really well put together; it’s single-sided and pressed into white wax and has good CRASS styled cut n’ paste artwork!
