Sidetracked - Crush kill destroy LP

20 years ago labels like "625 Thrash" or "Slap A Ham" ruled the business with speed like no other. Bands like "What Happens Next", "Spazz" or "Scholastic Deth" were our schoolyard reading in terms of unity and hatred for society. In the small town of Unna, the band Sidetracked formed around the turn of the millennium on the basis of the Hardcore Ami wave and since then played themselves silly in the AZs in and around the country. Originally released in 2004 as a strictly limited cassette, "Crush Kill Destroy" saw the light of day. It contained the songs from the split with "Some Came Running" plus several songs from the same session. In my opinion Peak English Thrashcore from Doofland. So why just leave it on Bandcamp and in 101 20 year old dusty cassette decks, when in the year of the vinyl crisis you can also just ban it on white gold? Spastic Fantastic once again turns out to be the label of the people and presents with the SFR-99 here now another project by fans for fans. Thick cardboard, hand-stamped labels, lyric sheet and liner notes from various participants, how it actually came to celebrate 20 years ago instead of "Onkelz" and city festivals rather "Where Fear and Weapons Meet" and sick bills.
